Karabikha estate, Literary estate museum in Karabikha village, Russia
The Karabikha estate complex consists of a central manor house, two wings, and surrounding parks on a hill near Yaroslavl city.
Prince Golitsyn initiated the construction of the estate on Karabitova Hill in the 1740s, marking the beginning of this architectural landmark.
Nikolai Nekrasov purchased the estate in 1861 and spent ten summer seasons there, creating numerous literary works in its peaceful environment.
The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:50 PM, with guided tours available in the main building and park territory.
The museum collection contains 25,000 items, including original furniture, personal belongings, and rare books from different periods of the estate.
