Lefortovo Park, Historic park in Lefortovo District, Moscow, Russia
The park spans across a green area featuring multiple ponds, including the rectangular island canal and seven water bodies like Sapozhok and Banny ponds.
Founded in 1703 by Field Marshal Fyodor Golovin, the park underwent transformation in 1722 when Peter I acquired it for his Moscow residence.
The park received its current name from the Lefortovo District and holds status as a regional cultural heritage site, preserving Moscow's architectural traditions.
The main entrance to the park is located on Krasnokazarmennaya Street, with access through public transportation routes including trams and buses.
During the reign of Empress Anna Ioanovna, mature trees were reportedly planted overnight in the park's Annengof Grove section.
