Makaryev-Unzhensky Monastery, Orthodox monastery in Makaryev, Russia.

The monastery complex features stone walls with four towers enclosing the Trinity Cathedral, Annunciation Church, and Dormition Church along the Unzha River.

Founded in 1439 by Saint Macarius after the destruction of his previous monastery, the complex underwent multiple reconstructions until its closure following the 1917 Revolution.

The Trinity Cathedral, built between 1664 and 1670, exhibits traditional Russian Orthodox architecture with its four-pillar, five-dome design and surrounding gallery.

The monastery maintains regular prayer services and welcomes visitors to view the relics of Saint Macarius, which returned to the site in 1995.

The monastery houses a collection of religious artifacts in its refectory church, constructed between 1670 and 1674 with additional structures added in 1824.
