Pushkin аpartment museum, Biographical museum at Moika Embankment, Saint Petersburg, Russia
The memorial apartment contains the preserved writing desk, sofa, bronze bust, and personal items of the celebrated Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.
The museum opened in 1927 in the apartment where Alexander Pushkin resided with his family from September 1836 until his death in January 1837.
The museum exhibits photographs, portraits of Pushkin and his family members, household items, manuscripts, and a death mask from the 19th century.
The museum welcomes visitors Monday through Sunday from 10:30 to 17:00, except Tuesdays and last Fridays, with guided tours for groups of 3 to 15 people.
Visitors can see the room where Pushkin spent his final moments, including the sofa where he died and his last words to his library collection.
