Hotel National

Hotel National is a neoclassical building with Art Nouveau elements located directly across from the Kremlin in Moscow and contains over 250 rooms. The structure stands out for its ornate facade and carefully arranged interior with elaborate finishes.

The building was constructed in the early 1900s as a luxury hotel and served as the seat of the first Soviet government after the 1918 revolution. This location marks a turning point from the tsarist to the Soviet era in Russian history.

The rooms and corridors display furnishings and decorative objects from the imperial era that visitors can still see today. These pieces reflect the time when this was a gathering place for the upper classes.
