Николаевские казармы, Military barracks in Khoroshyovsky District, Russia.
The Nikolaevskie Barracks consists of multiple three-story buildings constructed with red brick and stone architectural elements following military construction standards of the 1890s.
Built in 1898 under architect S.U. Solovyov's direction, the barracks initially housed the First Grenadier Artillery Brigade and First Don Cossack Regiment with over 20 structures.
The barracks complex included the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God, which served as a spiritual center for military personnel stationed at the facility.
The preserved buildings of the Nikolaevskie Barracks now contain various establishments, including the printing house and publishing office of the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
A dedicated railway branch line with its own station was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century to service the military complex.
