Farmhouse "Novospasskoe", Cultural heritage estate in Novospasskoye, Russia
The farmhouse property includes a main house with a colonnade, two outbuildings, and multiple interconnected ponds within its landscaped grounds.
Built between 1807 and 1810 by Ivan Nikolayevich Glinka, the estate endured damage during the French occupation in 1812 and required substantial reconstruction.
The birthplace of composer Mikhail Glinka in 1804 now functions as a museum displaying restored nineteenth-century interiors and personal artifacts.
Located 130 kilometers southeast of Smolensk and 25 kilometers south of Yelnya, the estate maintains regular visiting hours throughout the year.
The estate's park contains over 300 century-old trees, including specimens planted by Mikhail Glinka himself, alongside canals crossed by small bridges.
