The Khakassian National Museum Reserve spans 18,400 hectares and contains archaeological sites, natural landscapes, and traditional settlements across six villages.

The museum territory holds over 2,000 archaeological monuments dating from the Neolithic period, including burial mounds from the early Bronze Age.

The museum features stone sculptures from the Okunev archaeological culture dating back to the third millennium BCE, along with petroglyphs and traditional dwellings.

The museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 and offers guided tours about regional history and culture.

The territory encompasses steppe landscapes, mountain taiga, and rivers where temperatures range from minus 50 degrees in winter to plus 39 in summer.
