Safronovsky burial ground, Archaeological grave field in Khakassia, Russia.

The Safronovsky burial ground contains fifty pyramidal burial mounds arranged in linear patterns, surrounded by vertical stone monuments reaching heights of seven meters.

Archaeological excavations of this site began in January 1722 under D.G. Messerschmidt, revealing burial practices of the Tagar people from 2500 to 3000 years ago.

The stone monuments at Safronovsky feature 564 documented carvings that depict elements of Siberian shamanic traditions and ancient tribal spiritual practices.

Visitors can reach the burial ground by traveling from Abakan toward Poltakov ulus, though minimal signage makes navigation through rural roads challenging.

Four of the largest burial mounds display stones with unusual shapes, originally measuring between fifteen to twenty meters in height during their construction period.
