The Church of Saints Nine Martyrs of Cyzicus features classical architecture with symmetrical shapes and traditional Eastern Orthodox design elements throughout its structure.

Metropolitan Adrian of Moscow established this religious edifice in 1698, marking a period of increased Orthodox church construction in the Russian capital.

The church commemorates nine Christian martyrs from Cyzicus who were executed between 286 and 299 for maintaining their faith during pagan persecution.

Located at coordinates 55°45'15.9"N and 37°34'45.9"E, the church stands as a federal cultural heritage site in the central district of Moscow.

Hierodeacon Stephen enhanced the church's significance by bringing relics of the nine martyrs from Palestine to this Moscow sanctuary.
