The museum maintains a replica of Chaliapin's dressing room from the Mariinsky Theatre and hosts concerts in its ground floor hall to continue musical traditions.
Located at Novinsky Boulevard in Moscow, the museum operates from Wednesday through Sunday between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, offering guided tours of the exhibits.
The museum displays original artifacts from Chaliapin's career, including his personal effects and a portrait painted by Boris Kustodiyev against a winter background.
