Monument to Joseph Brodsky, Bronze monument in Novinskiy Boulevard, Moscow, Russia
The monument features 13 faceless bronze figures representing friends and critics, with Brodsky's relief figure facing the US Embassy building.
The memorial was inaugurated in May 2011 near the US Embassy, symbolizing Brodsky's exile from the Soviet Union and his immigration to America.
Sculptor Georgy Frangulyan created this monument as a personal gift to Moscow, representing the Nobel Prize-winning poet in a foreign suit with Italian shoes.
The monument is accessible through Barrikadnaya and Krasnopresnenskaya metro stations, positioned between buildings 22 and 28 on Novinskiy Boulevard.
The granite pedestal supports a multi-figure composition where Brodsky's head tilts upward while his hands remain in his trouser pockets.
