Volotovo Church, Medieval church in Volotovo, Russia.

The Volotovo Church features a cross-in-square architectural design with a silver dome and stands near Veliky Novgorod at coordinates 58.537292, 31.356864.

Built in 1352 under Archbishop Moses supervision, the church was completely destroyed during World War II and underwent reconstruction in the early 2000s.

The church walls contained detailed frescoes created around 1380, which demonstrated the artistic techniques and religious symbolism of medieval Russian painters.

Visitors can reach the church by taking a bus from the Central Bus Station of Veliky Novgorod and walking along an asphalt road after the first bridge.

During restoration work in 2002, workers discovered a brick depicting three warriors in a boat, suggesting connections to the medieval craftsmen who built the church.
