Built in 1360 on the location of the former Cathedral of Saints Boris and Gleb from 1167, this church represents multiple periods of Russian architectural development.
The interior walls contain graffiti inscriptions from the 14th and 15th centuries, alongside frescoes created by associates of Theophanes the Greek.
Visitors can explore the church daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with entrance fees of 250 roubles for adults and 150 roubles for students.
Hidden chambers within the church structure may contain treasures belonging to Simeon Andreevich, the original nobleman who commissioned its construction.
