Land of the Leopard National Park

The park encompasses 268,797 hectares of mixed forests, mountainous regions, and river valleys at the intersection of Russian, Chinese, and North Korean borders.

The park was established on April 5, 2012, by merging Leopardovy Wildlife Sanctuary with adjacent territories of Khasansky, Nadezhdinsky districts, and Ussuriysk urban area.

Local communities maintain traditional practices while contributing to scientific monitoring of wildlife through camera traps and field observations across the territory.

Visitors can access the park through Vladivostok, with guided tours available for wildlife observation, photography, and educational programs about conservation efforts.

This protected area contains the largest population of Amur leopards globally, with 129 individuals representing more than half of the entire species.
