Gamla Ullevi

Gamla Ullevi is a football stadium in central Gothenburg with capacity for 18,416 spectators under covered stands on all four sides of the rectangular pitch. The structure follows clean modern lines that focus on sight and direct access to the seating tiers.

A new construction replaced in 2009 the stadium from 1916 that had stood on the same site. The transition brought modern facilities to a neighborhood that has witnessed football for over a century.

The ground's name honors its predecessor and stays closely linked to football evenings when locals gather regularly around the arena. On match days, surrounding streets fill with supporters making their way to their seats.

Separate sections for away supporters and multiple entrance gates help with orientation during larger events. The central location makes arrival by public transport and on foot straightforward.

The Swedish women's national football team regularly plays home matches here. Four local men's clubs also share this venue as their playing ground.
