Falkenbergs Motorbana, motor racing circuit at Bergagård, Sweden
Falkenbergs Motorbana is a race track near Falkenberg that stretches about 1.8 kilometers in length with a width of 10 meters. It runs clockwise and combines fast straights with demanding curves, including the Nyhemskurvan and the fast S-curve, which require different driving techniques.
The track opened in 1967 and is located about 8 kilometers east of Falkenberg along road 154. Since its founding, it has hosted numerous racing events and was upgraded with modern lighting and camera systems in 2018 and 2019 to enable nighttime events and improve safety.
The track's name reflects the local racing club that manages it and organizes events like the spring run gathering. Drivers and spectators form a close community united by their passion for fast cars and motorcycles, regularly coming together to share knowledge and enjoy the thrill of motorsport.
The location is easily accessible from main highway E6 exit 51 and offers seating for about 1200 spectators with concrete stands and restroom facilities. There is a restaurant near the office building and a coffee stand in the lower pit area for refreshments during your visit.
A notable feature is a modification made in 2005 to one corner, where an extra sharp right-left turn with a barrier was added to improve safety. This change is not shown on basic track maps but is documented on the track's forum and discussed among experienced drivers.
