The stadium features a main grass field, artificial turf field, and multiple smaller fields spread across its grounds at coordinates 58°13′0″N, 11°56′38″E.

Opening in 1984, the stadium underwent a substantial renovation costing over 2 million SEK before the first Allsvenskan season in 1997.

The stadium serves as a central meeting point for Ljungskile SK supporters, who gather regularly to discuss club matters and participate in community events.

The venue contains modern facilities including changing rooms, a player tunnel, offices, a restaurant, a press room, and dedicated spaces for referees.

During early years of football matches at this location, visiting teams arrived by fishing boats and cleaned themselves in a nearby stream.
