Tranebergsbron

Tranebergsbron is a concrete and steel bridge connecting Kungsholmen island to the Bromma district across the Tranebergssund strait. The structure carries road traffic on its upper level and metro tracks below, spanning several sections to cross the water.

A floating bridge originally stood at this location and was completed in 1787. The current structure was built in the 1930s, replacing the earlier structure with modern engineering techniques.
