Ottar's mound, Archaeological burial mound in Husby, Sweden.

The circular burial mound measures 37 meters in diameter and rises 5 meters above ground level in the northern region of Uppland.

Archaeological excavations conducted by Sune Lindqvist in 1914 and 1916 revealed weapons and jewelry decorated with animal patterns from the Vendel Period.

The burial mound belongs to a larger cemetery complex containing 60 graves from the Vendel Period at the southern edge of Husby.

The archaeological site stands next to a road in the Tierp municipality, making it easily accessible for visitors interested in Iron Age history.

Local traditions connect this burial mound to King Ottar, a figure mentioned in the Old English epic poem Beowulf.
