Åkeshov Castle, 17th-century château in Stockholm Municipality, Sweden.
The castle features stone facades, symmetrical wings, and traditional Swedish architectural elements, positioned within the Judarskogen nature reserve area.
Baron Åke Axelsson initiated the construction of this estate in 1635, transforming the former Nockeby property into a nobleman's residence.
The interior spaces of the castle contain period furnishings and decorative elements that represent the tastes of Swedish nobility through different centuries.
The castle now operates as a hotel and conference center, offering accommodations and meeting spaces in a historical setting near Stockholm.
Several reconstruction phases between 1723 and 1740, led by architect Carl Hårleman, added distinctive features including specialized chambers and vestibules.
