Konsthall, Contemporary art gallery in Lund, Sweden
The Konsthall features a monolithic brick facade with balanced interior spaces designed to showcase rotating exhibitions of contemporary artworks throughout the year.
Constructed in 1957 following a competition won by architect Klas Anshelm, the building emerged from a donation by the Old Savings Bank to Lund city.
The exhibition space presents four major art shows annually, featuring works from both Swedish and international artists in its carefully designed galleries.
Located at Mårtenstorget 3, the gallery opens Tuesday through Friday from noon, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 8 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM.
The structure incorporates natural light management systems that create different viewing experiences as daylight shifts across the exhibition spaces.
