Själevad Church

The octagonal structure of Själevad Church features columns both inside and outside, with a central dome added during the 1923 renovation work.

The current church building, completed and consecrated on September 12, 1880, replaced an earlier medieval stone church that stood at the same location.

The church maintains strong connections to Swedish religious heritage as part of the Church of Sweden, serving as a central gathering place for local worship.

The church contains a modern Grönlund organ installed in 2007, featuring 42 voices and 4600 pipes for musical performances and services.

The structure overlooks the Mo River and received recognition as Sweden's most beautiful church in both 1998 and 2020 by national publications.
