Lursjön

Lursjön extends across 3.43 square kilometers with a perimeter of 13.6 kilometers and reaches a maximum depth of 12 meters at 55 meters above sea level.

The lake forms part of the South Baltic Sea Water District and received its environmental classification under the Water Framework Directive assessment program in 2016.

The lake provides multiple recreational spots including Lursjöbaden in the east and Bubbarp beach in the west for local residents and visitors.

The lake contains various fish species including perch, white bream, common bream, and ruffe, making it suitable for recreational fishing activities.

The water body maintains an ecological status rated as good while supporting a drainage area of 21.63 square kilometers, with 61 percent forest coverage.
