Skånes Djurpark

Zoológico de Escania is a wildlife park in Höör, Skåne, with around 900 animals from 100 species in naturalistic enclosures. Bears, moose, wolves, lynx, and golden eagles inhabit these habitats, which mirror their original environments.

The park was founded in 1953 and grew into a regional research facility in Skåne. Over the decades, the collection expanded and the park became a popular destination for visitors across Scandinavia.

The park displays Nordic animals in spacious enclosures that resemble their natural environments. Visitors observe how predators and plant-eaters coexist in these settings, much like they do in the wild.

Visitors can move through the enclosures on guided tours or observe the animals themselves from the walking paths. There are seating areas and information boards at key locations throughout the grounds.

The park offers special overnight stays in distinctive accommodations where visitors can sleep near the animals. These nights also include cozy outdoor activities that make the experience memorable.
