Charlottenlund Castle, Gothic Revival castle in Ystad Municipality, Sweden.

Count Arvid Posse commissioned architect Hans Jakob Strömberg to build the castle between 1849 and 1850 on the grounds of the former Snårestad manor. The property later passed to Danish industrialist Jacob Lachmann in 1902.
The castle reflects how Swedish nobility lived during the Romantic era. Its design shows the architectural tastes that the upper classes valued at that time.
The castle remains private property and is not open to the public. Visitors can only view the exterior from the surrounding grounds and roads.
The castle was built on the grounds of the former Snårestad manor, which had a long history as a landed estate. This location choice reflects how old properties were reimagined during the 19th century.
