Alnarp Castle, Renaissance castle in Lomma Municipality, Sweden.
The yellow brick castle features Dutch Renaissance architecture and stands as the centerpiece of a 26-hectare educational complex near Malmö.
Built in 1862 on medieval foundations, the castle replaced an earlier structure from 1325 that belonged to knight Anders Pedersen.
The castle serves as the main building of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, continuing a long tradition of agricultural education.
Visitors can explore the surrounding park throughout the year, which contains 2,500 different species of trees and shrubs from worldwide locations.
The castle construction required a dedicated brick factory nearby, specifically established to produce the distinctive yellow masonry materials.
