Ålleberg

The mountain rises 335 meters above sea level, featuring limestone formations, shale deposits, and diverse plant species across its protected landscape.

The area received official nature reserve status as part of Sweden's early conservation efforts, which began with the establishment of national parks in 1909.

Three marked trails traverse the reserve, connecting visitors to traditional grazing lands where animals maintain the natural meadow ecosystem from May to October.

Several parking areas serve different sections of the reserve, including spots near the rest area, the summit curve, Osthanget, and the Gliding Museum.

The mountain contains natural springs and supports deciduous forests growing on nutrient-rich soil created by its distinct geological composition.
