Almenäs, public beach

The sandy beach stretches 150 meters along Lake Öresjö's southern shore, featuring shallow waters and a large sunbathing lawn with scattered trees.

Almenäs Beach evolved from a local swimming spot into a major recreational facility, now accommodating up to 3,000 visitors during summer days.

The beach functions as a community gathering point where local residents participate in outdoor activities, beach volleyball matches, and summer celebrations.

Visitors can access changing rooms, outdoor showers, wheelchair ramps, barbecue stations, and a playground, while Café Almenäs provides refreshments from May to August.

The beach offers kayak and pedal boat rentals for exploring Lake Öresjö, which extends six kilometers in length and reaches 1.5 kilometers in width.
