Royal Mews, Museum and royal stables in Östermalm, Stockholm, Sweden.

The Royal Mews contains twenty bay horses and fifty carriages within its medieval-style architecture at Väpnargatan 1 in central Stockholm.

Founded in 1535 under Gustav Vasa's reign, the Royal Mews moved to different locations before settling in the current building constructed in 1894.

The Royal Mews organizes transportation for state visits, parliamentary openings, and diplomatic receptions using both traditional carriages and modern vehicles.

Guided tours by the King's coachmen provide visitors with detailed information about the royal transport collection and current stable operations.

The stables conduct over 6,000 transport missions annually, combining nineteenth-century carriages with contemporary vehicles including a 1950 Daimler limousine.
