Dansens hus

Dansens Hus is a dance venue in central Stockholm with a main stage seating around 780 people and a smaller performance space for about 140 spectators. The building provides modern infrastructure for Swedish and international dance productions.

The venue was founded in 1989 through a partnership of seven organizations including the Royal Opera and the National Theatre of Sweden. This founding established an important dedicated space for contemporary dance in Stockholm.

The venue hosts performances by Swedish and international dance companies, giving audiences access to diverse forms of contemporary movement. Visitors experience a living scene where established and emerging artists present their work.
