Hotel Borgen

Hotel Borgen is a brick building in central Örebro featuring symmetrical windows and decorative stonework from the early 20th century. The structure displays architectural details typical of Swedish construction from that era, with a well-proportioned facade.

The building was originally constructed as a bank called Gamla Sparbankshuset and served as a financial institution for the city for many years. It was later converted and reopened as a hotel while preserving its historic architectural features.

The name comes from a local hill that shaped the area and gave the place its identity. This connection to the landscape shows how the building relates to its surroundings.
