Hånö säteri, Manor house in Tystberga, Sweden
Hånö säteri is a manor house in Tystberga featuring a pink stone facade that rises two stories with wooden wings extending from its core structure. A park surrounds the central building and separates it from the farm buildings positioned across the property.
The manor was established in 1611 through the merger of the Koppardal and Svinesund estates. Despite experiencing a significant fire, it retained its 17th-century character and numerous original doors remain intact.
The manor operates as a modern retreat and event venue while maintaining its traditional Swedish architectural character. Visitors experience how the estate balances its role as both a historical residence and an active center for contemporary gatherings.
The estate provides accommodation for 6 to 26 guests spread across multiple buildings including Längan, Hörnhuset, and the eastern wing. Visitors should plan ahead as the different structures serve different purposes and the scale of the property requires arriving prepared.
The estate manages around 750 hectares dedicated to hunting activities and additionally leases around 1100 hectares from the neighboring Björksund property. These extensive lands make it a major center for hunting experiences across the surrounding countryside.
