Högklint, Nature reserve in Gotland Municipality, Sweden.
The limestone cliffs of Högklint rise 46 meters above sea level, forming vertical walls along the western coast of Gotland island.
The area received official protection status on September 10, 1969, when it was designated as a nature reserve under Swedish environmental law.
Local stories tell of Pirate Lilja, who allegedly stored treasures in a cave within the cliffs during past maritime activities.
Visitors can access multiple hiking trails, including the 5.42-kilometer Rövar Liljas håla - Lillklev loop, which circles through the reserve.
The site contains specific geological formations of reef limestone covered by alternating layers of limestone and marl slate.
