Rydsgårds gods, Historical estate in Skurup Municipality, Sweden
The main building presents an elongated structure with plastered walls, projecting wings, tiled gables, and a tall saddle roof covering its entire length.
Originally constructed in 1740, the mansion received its medieval-inspired design during an 1865 renovation by cathedral architect Carl Georg Brunius.
The estate operated under six generations of the Hallenberg family for nearly 200 years, maintaining agricultural traditions and architectural heritage.
The property includes extensive parkland with a small lake to the north and features an avenue of linden trees leading to the main entrance.
The name Rydsgård originates from a clearing in the primary forest that extended down the southern slope of Romeleåsen during medieval times.
