Skurup Municipality

Skurup Municipality is an administrative area in Skåne County in southern Sweden that stretches from Baltic Sea beaches to the Romeleåsen foothills. The territory encompasses approximately 511 square kilometers of farmland, coastal zones, and forested areas.

The municipality took its current form in 1971 when the market town of Skurup merged with the neighboring communities of Rydsgård and Vemmenhög. This administrative consolidation established the territorial boundaries still in use today.
