Skytteholm

Skytteholm is a manor house on the shore of Lake Mälaren with modern conference facilities and hotel rooms spread across several buildings on the grounds. The property has 74 rooms, multiple meeting spaces for up to 148 people, and two restaurants serving local food.

The site was founded in 1631 as the residence of Johan Skytte, a scholar who educated and advised King Gustav Adolf. The buildings took their current form during a major reconstruction in 1920.

The main building preserves Swedish architectural features from different periods, reflecting how the estate evolved from a home into a modern gathering place. Visitors can see this blend of old and new in the rooms and across the grounds.

The property is about 40 kilometers from Stockholm and easy to reach by car. The lakeside setting offers walking paths to explore, and the warmer months are especially pleasant for getting around.
