Slagthuset, Entertainment venue in Nyhamnen, Malmo, Sweden
The building complex contains multiple event spaces, including a theater seating 921 people and Saluhallen accommodating 1500 attendees at full capacity.
Originally constructed in 1904 as a municipal slaughterhouse, the building incorporated over 40 different types of brick and operated until 1969.
During the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, the venue functioned as Euroclub, hosting numerous performances connected to the international event.
The facility includes six distinct spaces: Restauranggatan, Södra Hallen, Norra Hallen, Saluhallen, Hantverksgången, and the main theater for various functions.
The building's granite from Halmstads Stenhuggeri combines with red Börring brick, chalk stone, and black glazed brick in its construction.
