Orkanen

Orkanen is a university library located along Malmö's inner harbor with a striking architectural design spanning approximately 150 meters. The building comprises six interconnected structures arranged around five distinct courtyards designed for academic purposes.

The building was completed in 2005 by architects Diener & Diener and Fojab Arkitekter, designed with emphasis on functional modern architecture. Its opening represented a major expansion of Malmö's university facilities supporting contemporary research and learning spaces.

The gallery displays student artworks and research presentations from faculty members, connecting academic work with public participation. You can see how the university shares its creative and scientific activities with the wider community.
