Tiken

Tiken is a fishing lake in Småland that covers about 6 square kilometers and connects to the Baltic Sea through the Brakneån river system. The water includes deep zones that attract anglers throughout the year.

The lake has maintained its natural fish populations because commercial fishing activity remained limited over many decades. This restrained use has preserved the ecological balance of the water.

Visitors can rent around 60 holiday homes and 30 boats through local operators for fishing trips and water activities. The available facilities make it easy to organize stays and excursions on the water.

Ospreys nest along the shoreline and teach their young hunting techniques during summer months. Wild minks roam the water's edge regularly, showing the area's natural variety.
