Äventyrslandet Kinnekulle, Theme park in Götene Municipality, Sweden
The medieval-themed entertainment complex spreads across a large area near Lake Vänern, featuring structures from medieval film productions and outdoor activities.
Opening in 2008 under the name Medeltidens Värld, the park incorporated original sets from the Arn movie trilogy, a medieval Swedish film series.
The park represented an attempt to showcase medieval Swedish heritage through entertainment, connecting visitors with historical narratives from the region.
Located along route E20 in northeast Götene, the former park grounds remain closed to public access following its permanent closure in 2013.
The municipality invested over 100 million Swedish kronor in the project before selling it to an entrepreneur who added a pink pirate castle.
