Äventyrslandet Kinnekulle, Theme park in Götene Municipality, Sweden
Äventyrslandet Kinnekulle is a former theme park near Lake Vänern that featured structures and sets from film productions alongside outdoor attractions. The grounds contained various entertainment facilities designed to engage visitors of different ages and interests.
The park opened in 2008 under the name Medeltidens Värld and used original sets from a Swedish medieval film trilogy. It closed permanently in 2013 and has remained inaccessible to the public since then.
The park represented an attempt to showcase medieval Swedish heritage through entertainment, connecting visitors with historical narratives from the region.
The site is located along route E20 in northeastern Götene and is no longer open to visitors. While the former grounds can be viewed from outside, the area is not operational.
A pink pirate castle was added after the site changed hands to a new operator and became a distinctive feature on the grounds. This reflects how the park's concept evolved over time before closure.
