Östersunds rådhus, Town hall in Östersund, Sweden
The red brick building features a distinctive onion-shaped dome, rising 51 meters above ground level with a prominent clock face in its tower.
Constructed between 1909 and 1912 by architect Frans Bertil Wallberg, the structure marked Östersund's growth period during the late 19th century.
The interior displays regional craftsmanship through wooden panels, linen wallpaper, parquet floors, brass works, and iron chandeliers from the Jämtland region.
Municipal offices operate in the adjacent committee house, while the main building contains two grand halls: the Court Room and the Council Room.
The town hall's weathervane features a golden representation of Saint George battling the dragon, visible from multiple points across the city.
