Rådhuset, Uppsala

The Rådhuset building stands prominently next to Stora Torget square, featuring a combination of traditional architecture and modern glass extensions on its courtyard side.

The structure, dating back to 1645, underwent substantial renovation between 2007 and 2012, during which AIX Architects transformed the building while preserving its original elements.

The building evolved from a municipal center into a contemporary workspace hub, housing United Spaces coworking facilities across 2,400 square meters with multiple meeting areas.

Members of United Spaces at Rådhuset gain access to private offices, shared workspaces, meeting rooms with video conferencing equipment, and a bistro within 500 meters of central station.
