Rog, Former bicycle factory and cultural center in Ljubljana, Slovenia
The Center Rog houses nine production laboratories equipped with tools and technologies for diverse creative projects including textile, metal, and glass work.
The site transformed from a tannery in 1871 to a bicycle factory in 1951, before becoming an independent cultural space from 2006 to 2021.
The Center Rog provides nineteen workspaces for creative projects, exhibitions, and collaborations between international artists and local community members.
Members can access the production facilities through user packages that grant entry to workspaces during weekdays and Saturdays at different pricing levels.
The facility maintains specialized laboratories where individuals can repair objects or develop new products under the guidance of expert mentors.
