Ľadový štít, Mountain summit in High Tatras, Slovakia

Eistaler Spitze reaches an elevation of 2,627 meters, making it the third highest mountain in the Tatra Mountains range of northern Slovakia.

The first documented climb of Eistaler Spitze occurred in 1843 when John Ball, Wilhelm Richter, and Carl Ritter reached the summit with local mountain guides.

The mountain holds different names across languages, known as Ľadový štít in Slovak and Lodowy Szczyt in Polish, reflecting the multicultural heritage of the region.

Climbers can access the summit through multiple routes, including the Normal route rated UIAA I and the more technical Ice ridge path from Tery hut.

The southeast wall of Eistaler Spitze contains the Grósz route and Brnčal pillar, offering technical climbing opportunities in granite rock formations.
