Warehouse No 7

Warehouse No 7 is a three-story industrial building on the Danube riverbank with a rectangular footprint and three towers on its flat roof. The structure is being transformed into a restaurant and brewery complex while maintaining much of its original character.

The building was constructed between 1921 and 1922 by a Prague construction company as part of port development following Czechoslovakia's founding. It received National Cultural Monument status in 1986, recognizing it as evidence of early infrastructure growth.

The building takes its name from its original role as a storage facility at the port and is now seen as a symbol of Bratislava's industrial past. Visitors can trace this earlier function in the facade, which continues to shape how the place is experienced.

The building sits right by the Danube and is easy to reach from the old town area. Visitors should note that the site is undergoing renovation and full public access is still being prepared.
