Historical Town Hall, Gothic town hall building in Bardejov, Slovakia
The stone town hall, built between 1505 and 1509, stands in the center of Bardejov's rectangular market square with Renaissance architectural elements.
The municipal structure served as the center of economic and social life during Bardejov's peak prosperity in the 15th century as a vital Kingdom of Hungary town.
The building now functions as the Saris Museum, presenting exhibitions about the development of Bardejov from a market settlement to a royal borough.
Visitors can access the town hall museum daily from April through October, with guided tours available in multiple languages upon advance reservation.
The structure incorporates a metal statue of Roland, a medieval symbol of municipal rights, positioned at the corner of the building facing the square.
