The stone rotunda features a cylindrical nave measuring 5.4 meters in diameter connected to a semicircular apse on the eastern side.

The construction of Saint George Rotunda occurred in the 12th century, and by 1435 it became part of the town defense system.

The interior walls display Gothic paintings depicting Saint George fighting a dragon, representing medieval religious art in Slovakia.

Visitors can explore the rotunda from June through September on weekdays between 10:00 and 16:00, with different weekend hours.

The structure includes walls measuring between 1.3 and 1.4 meters in thickness, making it an exceptionally fortified religious building.
