Červený most, Cable-stayed bridge in Bratislava, Slovakia

The bridge extends 431 meters across the Danube River with a main span of 303 meters supported by a single 80-meter-high pylon.

The construction period from 1967 to 1972 required the demolition of parts of the Old Town, including sections of the Jewish quarter.

The structure commemorates the Slovak National Uprising of 1944, reflected in its official name Most Slovenského národného povstania.

The bridge contains two levels: the upper deck carries four lanes of vehicle traffic while the lower level serves pedestrians and cyclists.

The UFO-shaped structure at the top houses a restaurant and observation deck, accessible by elevator or an emergency staircase with 430 steps.

Location: District of Bratislava III
