IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani, Convention center and sports venue in Ban Mai, Thailand
IMPACT is a large convention and sports complex north of Bangkok featuring multiple halls for exhibitions, conferences, and various sporting events. The facility offers flexible spaces accommodating everything from international trade shows to concerts and competitions.
The complex originated as a sports facility for the 1998 Asian Games, hosting boxing, weightlifting, and volleyball competitions. After those games, it was redeveloped into a modern multipurpose convention center and reopened in 1999.
The venue hosts hundreds of events each year, from trade shows to concerts and sports competitions, drawing visitors from across Asia. This varied calendar makes it a regional meeting point for business and entertainment.
The venue sits about 30 minutes from downtown Bangkok and 15 minutes from Don Mueang International Airport, making it easily accessible. Shuttle services and ample parking are available on-site to simplify arrival and navigation.
The Challenger Hall is famous for its column-free ceiling, featuring one of the world's largest unsupported spans. This engineering allows completely open floor plans and makes the hall exceptionally adaptable for any layout.
